I have been in love with photography for as long as I can remember. My first camera was a brownie bought at a yard sale. I don’t even think I could buy film for it but it was love at first sight. I have a degree in Marketing as well as having spent many hours taking a variety of photography courses.I have had periods of my life where I shot more photos than other periods but two major factors have caused me to really expand my hobby: becoming a mom and the digital age. Being a mom gave me endless opportunity for beautiful photos. Purchasing my Nikon Digital Camera has allowed me to shoot endless shots with out worry of running out of film.

As for me, I live in the western North Carolina Mountains where the Blue Ridge Mountains meet the Great Smokey Mountains. I love where I live and wouldn’t trade it for anywhere in the world though Alaska in the summer time is a close second. I hope to continue my travels as a new love of landscape and wildlife work is now beginning to blossom. Thank you for taking the time to be interested in my work in progress.
