My name is Chad. My wildlife photography hobby began about 5 years ago with a point and click camera and a chance observation of a Peregrine Falcon on the edge of a dirt road. It was chowing down on a duck, and as we approached it flew its prey back into a field about 50 yards away. As it resumed eating, along came another Peregrine and the two began to posture and fight about getting the spoils. After just a few minutes, the intruder flew away and the first falcon got back to business! I've been hooked ever since! I consider myself a novice who occasionally gets a great shot by being in the right place at the right time. Am slowly through experience and reading beginning to improve my skills and get more keepers. In the meantime I live to just get outdoors and see these awesome creatures do their thing.
