Railroad Photography by Joseph Cermak

Always had an interest in trains from a young age playing with my grandfather's Lionel sets and running trains around the Christmas tree. After loosing interest during high school, I joined the model railroad club at RIT where I was studying mechanical engineering. In December of 2015 I got a DSLR and dove into the hobby of railfanning and have been photographing railroad operations and striving to constantly improve photographic skills as I travel in pursuit of the hobby. I work for Wabtec as a mechanical/systems engineer on the locomotive modernizations team.

I'm always happy to listen to critiques of my work or offer my input on yours. Feel free to message me for information or with any questions.
