Hi and many thanks for taking the time to visit my photo-stream.

Photography and in particular motor-sports have been hobbies of mine for many years, in fact since I left school. I like taking photos of all sorts of vehicles as long as they are fast and shiny on two or four wheels! Living in Dublin, Ireland there are not many events to visit and shoot at. I will often go to Mondello Park in Co. Kildare which is probably Ireland's biggest race track and to any of the better events held there throughout the year. I also travel to some of the bigger shows in the UK in London, Birmingham, Donington and Edinburgh. Do please leave comments if you like or dislike my work. I have been very fortunate to work with some fantastic people that I have met over the years at motorsport events. I have also been blessed to be able to shoot some of the best and most beautiful female models at shows here in Ireland and in the U.K.

Everything I post is my own work that I have shot myself and is copyright protected and my property. I try to take the best shots I can and do as much setup work in the 'field'; I prefer not to edit my images too much (if at all).

I am a lifelong Nikon user. I really like their lenses and my current two favourite lenses are the 70-200 f2.8 and 24-70 f2.8. I have a 28-300 which is a great travel lens and a 70-300 which is good for track work but there is no comparison to the f2.8 aperture in low light, need a nice DOF or when you want to bump up the shutter speed. I have a variety of bodies that I will use depending on what I am shooting but will often just bring my D750 and D850 bodies with the two f2.8 lenses. If you set things up right and take your time the D850 can produce some fantastic results. Although at the end of the day its not the gear but the eye of the person behind the camera that really counts. There are plenty of people using a simple compact camera that produce fantastic results.

Currently (March 2017) my photostream has had over 20,000,000 views (update April 2023 60 million +) so a big thanks to everyone who has visited and commented.
