Matthew Shugart, Professor of Political Science, specializing in elections, but more recently specializing in being retired. Thus the photos include election-related material, such as photos from trips to observe and research campaigns in the UK (2010) and New Zealand (2011).

Currently in Plainfield, California, in the Sacramento Valley. Posting mainly photos of the fruit trees I have been growing here since 2013.

Many of my photos, especially those posted between 2005 and 2009, are of the many varieties of fruit I grew at my former finca, Ladera Frutal, in southern California.
