it was just over a year ago that i captured my first bolt of lightning, and with that capture, i got a new friend! scott was proud and impressed with my shot, but told me i was 'trying to hard' and that there were much easier ways to do it. well, from that comment on, i was going to scott with questions about all sorts of different things, and also learning by just cruising through his stream (over and over and over...). his photos are unique, and he likes to take chances with his photos, which is something i really need to work on. thank you so much, scott, for all of the things you have taught me. and for being such a great friend! that means more than all the photography advice in the world! :)
