Hi, my name is Martin :) I live in beautiful Southern California, Orange County to be more precise. Beautiful sunsets, warm weather (even though I love rain), and pristine beaches are a few of the things So Cal has to offer, along with some awesome deserts and mountains.

 

 

I currently attend UC Irvine, where I am majoring in Business Administration. I am now a sophomore, and have been enjoying my time and most of my classes so far.

 

I have a few passions in life (besides photography). I played baseball for 14 years of my 19 year life. I played for part of my freshman year at UCI, but decided it wasn't for me and quit to focus more on school (and to have a life!)

 

 

Another passion of mine is cars. All types, shapes and sizes, but mostly ones that go extremely fast :p I own a 2006 Aspen White Subaru WRX STI, and enjoy every time I start up the boxster engine.

 

 

I also love to travel, although I don't get to as much as I'd like to! I really want to go back to Hawaii. The views and scenery were so spectacular.

Since I wrote a paragraph in my interests instead of listing things, I'll just throw it up here.

 

I have a wide variety of interests, from cars to photography to creating beats for freestyles. I interest in photography began about 6 years ago, when my sister gave me her old Kodak point and shoot. I remember taking it to the LA auto show, and from there I was hooked. After that, I got a cheap little Gateway DC50 (or something) P&S that did it's job for about a year, but I decided to step it up and go with the Canon Digital Rebel about 4 years ago, and haven't looked back since. The Rebel lasted me for over 20,000 clicks, and is currently in the possession of my sister, which is somewhat ironic since she started me off by giving me her old camera. Currently, I own a Canon 40D, which I absolutely love. I have 3 lenses, all Canon: 15mm fisheye, 17-85mm IS USM, and a 70-300mm telephoto. I really want to get a better telephoto, a USM or IS, but as you know, they get quite pricy.Feel free to critique any of my photos: tell me what you like, what you hate, and everything in between! I'm a big fan of Death Cab for Cutie, and for you rockers I enjoy Blink-182 :p The Beatles is also a favorite of mine. I like way too many bands to list them all, and I pretty much enjoy all types of music (except I'm not that fond of country :p )
