I like to say I’m a friend, listener, educator, activist, connector and most importantly a photographer. I aspire to be a documentarian and photojournalist but I like to shoot all kinds of stuff.

I have a degree in film, thanks to a Posse Foundation scholarship. I wanted to pursue a career as a cinematographer, but changed my mind.

It is my goal to continue to develop my skills in documentary storytelling via environmental portraiture. I strive to capture beautiful depictions of the wild world or ugly evidence of the damage it suffers. To me, both seem crucial - beauty to show what’s at risk, its destruction to create a sense of urgency.
