Taking a good photograph is directly proportional to the amount of photos one takes. With that said, two photographers can be compared without even looking at their photos, all that needs to be done is to weigh their photos. Back in university our professors would weigh our portfolio's and give us a grade based on that.Photography is not done with the eyes or the hands, more with the nose, you have to smell it, feel it, you have to see like the camera does, therefore the amount of time your eye is looking through the viewfinder the more you will become one with the camera. Many people compose with the eyes, camera at the waist then hold the camera up to their eyes, when one should search for their frame while looking through the viewfinder.
Everything that could possibly be done with photography was already done within the first 6 years from the time it was first invented. Today we just go through a cycle of whats been done, we are trying to find our place in our time with photography.
A photographer is essentially a chemist.

What can I say about Mark that hasn't already been said? Not much! I was very inspired by Mark when I was first starting shooting and I still am. He always has the most bokeh. He's a great friend, good travel companion and has almost as many stories as I do. His model work is breathtaking. He's also the most frugal person I've ever met. Two different trips with the DMZ with him has left my psyche full of terrible, traumatic tunnel stories. He's one of the most talented shooters on flickr for sure.

Though i was started in photography by someone else, he pushed me to take pictures - A LOT of it - and handed me countless valuable techniques and information. More importantly he got me into film cameras, which has taken my photographic horizon to the next level. Mark forcing me to buy an FE2 was one of the best things that's happened to me in recent years and for that I'm forever grateful. But, more than anything, he's one of the greatest friends of mine who watches out for me and is always honest and genuine with me and that is a gain that can't be replaced by anything. Needless to say he's an exceptional and original photographer who relentlessly paves the way for others to follow, but it's his unique personality and his sense of discipline and positive philosophy on life that build the underlying basis of his undeniable artistic energy.
Read lessMark photos are truly influential and inspiring. His art directions toward portrait is unbelievably amazing. I guess we all know how amazing his bokeh shots are. His eyes for photography is nothing i see as good as him on flickr.
Mark taught me the value of shooting with large apertures (thus making me obsessed with buying better lenses) and set a good example of how to shoot Korean girls with soft tones and desaturated hues. I'll probably always look up to his style as an example for my own work. Of course, he's a great friend too.

mister bokeh should rename himself to "mister wow". This is the first word i say when i'm looking through his photos. He has a special gift and helps me become a better photographer. I'm always looking forward to his new and fresh up-coming series. Its like a waiting for a new Korean drama to come out.~ㅋㅋ
Everytime i see a Mark's brand new picture i'm telling myself that i HAVE to check what this is. and everytime that's the same song. Ok, clic, watching the pix for a good thirty seconds, maybe writing something, for sure adding it to favoris, and getting really surprized. Good job mate :)

A great source of inspiration...pushes a Vdub...will always bring me back to earth when I dream about 5Ds and other crazy toys...this kid is a badboi who can shoot like sniper...always good times especially when hittin TO streets...forget Miami he says... Always a pleasure *p
