I'm a happy Irish barman despite (or perhaps thanks to) a 16 year high-tech career. I'm an avid amateur photographer, and have been taking photos for more than 30 years. My first 35mm camera was a Konica, and I have shot Pentax, Canon, Minolta and Nikon since. I bought a Nikon D50 DSLR after borrowing a friend's Canon DSLR for a trip to Turkey and can't really ever imagine shooting film again. Upgraded to the D7000 and love it even more. My Nikon and my Mac's are my photo assistants, and they, along with Photoshop CS4 get some of the credit for what I shoot, or at least for how it ends up looking.
