I started using a camera in 1983 when I was 12. I used the family camera which was a pretty basic thing. I can't remember what it was that I used but it was cheap! I bought my first camera in 1986 which was a basic Hanimex compact. Later I progressed to a Canon EOS 10 SLR which was a great camera and a huge step forward. I really enjoyed using it and got some excellent results. When the digital era arrived I bought a Fuji FinePix compact which I used for about a year. I sold this and bought a Panasonic Lumix LX2 - a really fine quality camera. I then moved into the more serious stage and bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 which was a world away from the LX2. After using that for a while the GH3 came out and so I sold the GH2 and bought that. That was my favorite camera until I bought a GX8. Now I've departed from Micro Four Thirds and am using a Sony A7 RIII full-frame mirrorless.
