Greetings fellow Flickr's!

I am Mr Andy Bird and after many years of looking at the bland photography that floods the internet, have decided to put my humble technology to proper use and make the very most of the wonderful medium of digital photography.

There is nothing more upsetting than seeing someone with an awesome piece of equipment, capable of taking amazing images, just not using it to it's full potential - it's such a waste!

My equipment isn't the best - i use a Fujifilm FinePix s5600, acquired in 2007, which has a simple add-ons including a macro lens, wide angle converter lens and a telephoto enhancer lens. I also own a small tripod which really helps with some of my favourite works and to quote one of my favourite photographers, Trey Ratcliff, I'm not a hardcore hardware guy and am happy as long as i can produce good photos with what i've got at my disposal.

Not having the most creative of careers means that when i get the chance, there's really nothing better than chucking your gear in a bag and hitting the road to take a bunch of photos.

Doesn't matter where, who or even if it's 'original' or not as long as a little bit of love and effort is put into the final work.

There is no excuses anymore.....if i can do it then anyone can!
