I have always been interested in photography. Current camera is the Canon 40D. Recently expanded my lens collection with a Canon 35mm and a Canon 100-400mm zoom which has been brilliant for wildlife and event photography. I also use a tarmron 90mm for macro work.

I am enjoying photography at the moment Landscape, portraits, nature, wildlife and astro-photography. I also like the comments I received from all my Flickr contacts and get a lot of inspiration from others' images although I going off 'awards' for groups and just enjoy swapping comments.

I did the Art of Photography course through the open College of Arts and have also been inspired by Lakeland Photography Holidays where i have learned a great deal about composition and techniques.

Some of work has been published. For example my pictures of Turville, Oxfordshire are in the British TV Location guide.

I have one of my Audio-Visuals on display at the RIver & Rowing Museum at Henley-on-Thames. www.rrm.co.uk/ The exhibition has been set up by Chiltern AONB and is called Special Trees and woodlands.

I like taking photographs of night images like this one below, as well as landscapes (especially of Africa).

Adrian is on my List. Adrian's Flickr stream is an honest and refreshing reflection of his journeys through the natural environment and what he encounters along the way. And a contrasting love of all things man-made shines through too. Adrian's work demonstrates a love and understanding of form and colour. It's clear he finds beauty in much of what he sees. And knows how to communicate it too - he gets it! He stays on my List.
