I'm an amateur photographer who took classes all four years in high school and one quarter in college. Many of my photographs are just snapshots from different events but after joining flickr, I'm trying to get back to that technical and artistic thought process of a shot before I take it. I'm enjoying flickr groups like FlickrMissions and Theme Competition that really challenge me along with the entire flickr community. What an exceptional group of people! I am your student, and want to absorb as much as I can from all of you!

My husband and I recently bought a Canon 20D and are still learning how to use it...which unfortunately means that we sometimes miss a great shot while we're fiddling with the camera settings. It's been fun though and a wonderful hobby that we can enjoy together...except when we both want the camera at the same time!
