Enthusiastic amateur who's been taking photographs for a long time; a very very long time, at least 55 years if not a little longer. I started with with an old Kodak twin lens reflex my father had with him in India during the Second World War. I then moved on to a Kodak Instamatic, the one's with flash cubes; I purchased my first SLR around 1970 and used mainly home processed transparency film. At that time my subject matter was almost exclusively motor-sport. Unfortunately all my early material is lost. Apart from family snapshots of the kids I had a break of around 20 years from the mid 1980's to the mid-noughties; then I found digital and I've been hooked ever since.

I'll try any subject but it's mainly landscapes, nature and street photography, that is my annual trip to the 'fringe on the mile'.
