Small-town Midwestern girl transplanted to Los Angeles, as my hubby works in the aerospace industry... I'm a CPA, but contrary to popular belief, that doesn't mean I do taxes! I'm a full-time accounting manager at a small furniture company, and I spend my days battling spreadsheets and traffic on the 405 freeway!

As far as my fabric tastes go, I tend to like bright (but not neon!) colors, with a particular love of pink. I like all colors except dark green...blah!

*Living room is fairly neutral, so pops of color are great (and my girlie loves looking at bright & fun stuff)

*Kitchen pops in a bright turquoise, my neutrals are light gray & white.

*Master bedroom colors include pink/red/purple...or aqua/blue/green...depending on which quilt is on the bed!

*Guest bedroom is dark blue with a hint of turquoise in it and is now home to my crafty corner

*My crafty room is a color explosion!

I'm opposed to crazy novelty fabrics for kids - if I wouldn't be caught dead wearing/carrying an item with the fabric, my kid shouldn't be either!
