My name is Mark Petry and I live on Bainbridge Island near Seattle, WA. Life’s really good here. I live out in the country where it’s nice and quiet, and work in the city. My commute is about 15 miles by ferry and bike - so I ride 150+ miles / week. Pretty good for an old guy.

I work in the mobile application industry, and I am the proprietor of Tessaract, a small software developer specializing in applications for handheld devices. I'm also interested in sustainable lifestyles and reducing energy consumption.

My hobbies include riding my bicycles and kayaking the waters of Puget Sound, watch collecting, photography, and high end audio.

Most of these pics were taken with a Nikon S10 (digital) or Leicaflex SL (film) and I'm experimenting with the camera in my Nokia N95 phone.
