Amateur Photographer

After years of 'point and shoot' photography, I now want much more from the shots I take. I love the effect of light and wish to learn how to capture it's fleeting beauty. For me, that means to slow right down...to avoid selecting 'auto' on my camera, and to think of Subject, Composition and Light (thanks to Rob at robnunnphoto.com)

It's an exciting journey, one I hope to share with like minded enthusiasts. I welcome critique and feedback.
