I live on the back of a wild pony, sleep in a tree, and dream of ravens and coyotes.

I walk barefoot along dusty fence lines, through icy mountain creeks and over mysterious mesas.

I lie in wait for elk to drop their antlers.

I run five miles in cowboy boots to gather feathers and bones and bullet shells.

I trespass (often) to honor the remains of long forgotten cabins.

I hike all day just to see afternoon light through aspen trees.

I sit for three days waiting to see the grey fox or the ringtail.

I walk alone in the wilderness, for months, to hear what the forest sounds like without roads and phones and rushing people.

I capture light and shadow; I gather rust and stone; I re-shape bone and branch; I offer what beauty I can to the world.

Be Kind. Be Brave. Love a Wild Place.
