My name is Kelcie Kysar. I was born in Spokane on April 10th, 1997. In 2000 I moved to Vancouver and I have lived here ever since. I have always been fascinated with nature and animals. I love to help my dad with fixing computers and other electronics (that is his job) because it is fun and I get paid too. I am a very lucky kid because my dad has provided me with Photoshop and other computer programs to play with. So even in elementary school, I have been learning how to use Photoshop. I consider my dad artistic (he does not think so), he designed his own logo, and he rocks the artistic-ness when he builds web sites. My grandmother was an artist and we have statues and big pictures of horses and deer that she drew hanging up on our walls. My mom is not so artistic, she works in a laboratory, but my aunt was a painter as well. I don’t consider myself very artistic, because I can not draw a worm if my life depended on it! But I like to draw random squiggly lines and color them in to make it look abstract. I also play the clarinet. I plan to take a few art classes in collage, now that I have experienced what it is like to be in an art class. I actually didn’t plan on being in digital photography, but there was a hole in my schedule at the beginning of school and this was the only class that was left open.
