I've been a member since July 2006 and I really enjoy the site, the people and the photographs. The level of many of the photos posted here is inspiring and makes me eager to learn and improve. I use a Sony A-77, a Sony CyberShot and sometimes my Samsung phone. I don't photograph anything in particular, just whatever catches my eye. I do enjoy macro photography because the world beneath our feet is beautiful and fascinating and a world we don't really see that much of. I like to have fun with my photography which is really the point, right?
