I'm 23, going to college, and still poor beyond all belief. Pretty much your average college hippie.
As to photography, I've been working with digital shots for about two and a half years now, so I'm relatively new, and very much still an amature. I took a black and white 35mm class in my senior year of High School and fell in love with photography. I got my current camera for graduation and have been shooting ever since. My best work is in landscapes, but I would love to be able to take better portraits, and have been doing my best to learn. I'd like to go on to become a professional level photographer, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Camera: Anything since December of 2007 has been with my D300 and a combination a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4, and the 28-80mm and 70-300mm Nikkor kit lens with the Nikon 6T Diopter since about May, the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 and October, the Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 that I got to replace the Nikkor kit. As of February 2009, I have a Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8 to replace the Tamron.
All of my work before March or so was done using a Nikon D50 with the aforementioned lenses.
I really want to get myself the 100mm Zeiss Makro, the 14-24 f/2.8, the 85 f/1.4, the battery grip, and a few other things, but as I just dropped $1,600 on a lens they're a bit out of my financial reach for a good while.
