I have a passion for photography and am trying to get back into the art with a vengence since a hiatious for a few years.

I started back with film at first using a Canon 1v and mostly Fuji Velvia film, but I am finding it a hassle to get them scanned by a high quality film scanner and don't want to invest in one myself. I will always keep it around for things like astrophotography, which I love. Something about having that 17-40 lense on the 1v with a 100% viewfinder and having the shutter open for 8 hours just says a lot.

I have also picked up a 40d (waiting for more full framed models to come out) use my canon 17-40mm f/4 L the most, but also recently got the 100-400mm and will be needing something in between the 2.

Anyways, I love to shoot a lot of subjects but mostly out in the open, landscape and whatever shows up whether stationary or moving and alive.
