Mord... how can I descibe him? When I think of him I recall those toy-kaleidoscopes I used to play with when I was a child: a multiplicity of shapes and colours that charms you everytime you look at it. Mord is like that. He has such a richness inside that can amaze you with thousends colourful surprizes: his stop-motion videos are stunning and his photos are flashes of pure genius (if you tell him this, he will reply: "Oh, it's nothing: it was just a reflection on a metallic ball". He's a shy artist!). Mord is also a fantastic family man: he has a wonderful wife and children who love him. To tell the truth everybody that gets to know him can only love him: he's intelligent, sweet and crazy enough to be a wonderful friend. I am happy to have him as my Flickr contact. If John Lydon and Craig Ferguson had fornicated, mord would be their love child. He reminds me of everything I love about real punk, real life, and real people. He wears fantastic specs, and wigs, that, ironically, match many colors my hair has been through various stages of my life. I gave up that nonsense years ago, and decided to follow a more mainstream path. In that process, I came across this oddly fascinating and fabulous Englishman. Why we never came across one another before is beyond me, but I'm so glad we did this time 'round. I've found an instant friend in you, and I feel very lucky to have done so :)

Well after nearly a year and a half of knowing him now, and having him come and VISIT ME!! How cool is that?! (The best part of 2006 by far!) - I have to say that David Mordey has got to be one of the craziest, funniest, nicest, funnest, kindest, weirdest, most giving, slightly creepy, super thoughtful, best copy cat, best fan, best friend, most encouraging, very inspiring, most creative and entertaining people I've ever met in my life and i love him a lot. He is truly one of my most favorite people on this planet now. :) And it's all thanks to flickr. Thanks flickr! Now about those photos.. David Mordey's stream is a joy and hilarity to behold. He is obsessed with photographing himself, and that is a good thing. He also has an obsession with death, that borders on "mordbid", but since his wife is a psych nurse I am not too worried.
