I am a total amateur who got interested in taking pictures when I got my Grandpa´s manual Canon in early 1970.

But I have only been taking pictures occasionally some years more and some less.

Now I just got my second digital camera, a Panasonic FZ100.

For the moment automation is my friend, I try to learn the manual features, but it will probably take a lifetime!

I live near the see, and during summer I spend a lot of time at my summer cottage in the beautiful archipelago of the Åland Islands.

Inspiration is what I get here on Flickr and I am totally amazed about many many pictures.

I also have to admit that I feel hilarious happiness when my pictures get comments!
