Mbote ndeko! (meaning “Hello my friend” in lingala, language spoken in DR of the Congo),

my name is Matteo Merletto, I’m 33 and I live in the North of Italy, near Milan.

I studied in Florence and then I’ve lived 4 years in Kinshasa, the capital of DR of the Congo. I spent the following year linving in the North, in the forest.

In 2005 I came back to Italy where I’ve worked 4 years as director of a magazine for children in the North-East of Italy where I had the chance to refine my photography tecnique.

I’ve recently worked for Connexia in Milan on a website project. I’m currently looking for an interchange of ideas with professional photographers.
