Born in Hamburg. Studies at the University of Hamburg (sociology, educational sciences), studied fine arts and visual communication at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg (Prof. Kilian Breier and Gerhard Rühm).

Implementation of media education projects under the IBA (International Building Exhibition) and the Dockville Festival (camera-less photographic art at the summer camp "Lüttville").

 

My courses, workshops and seminars, whether for children or adults, are supported by playful experimentation and convey complex contents besides especially basic skills, and parent relationships.

 

The central motif of my artistic exploration is the plant (Project PAN, HELIOPHYTOGRAMME). Other priorities are urban color rhythms, working with the photocopier (CARBONES: basic shapes, structural and thematic overlays, even formative processes), and arranged, transmitted light transparent collages (TRANSVISIONS).

 

In the context of mythical and philosophical aspects correspond differentiated, fragile color and form elements with bright, strong characters. It's all about subtle experience, interweaving vegetative qualities the balancing act between concrete and abstract, between sharpness and blur, compression and resolution, severity and volatile ease.

Durchführung von medienpädagogischen Projekten im Rahmen der IBA (Internationale Bauausstellung) und des Dockville-Festivals (kameralose Fotokunst im Sommercamp „Lüttville“).

 

Meine Kurse, Workshops und Seminare, gleich ob für Kinder oder Erwachsene, sind getragen von spielerischer Experimentierfreudigkeit und vermitteln neben komplexen Inhalten vor allem auch Basiskenntnisse und übergeordnete Zusammenhänge.

 

Zentrales Motiv meiner künstlerischen Auseinandersetzung ist die Pflanze (Projekt PAN, HELIOPHYTOGRAMME). Weitere Schwerpunkte bilden urbane Farbrhythmen, Arbeiten mit dem Fotokopierer (CARBONES: Basisformen, strukturelle und motivische Überlagerungen, selbstgestaltende Prozesse), sowie im Durchlicht arrangierte Transparent-Collagen (TRANSVISIONS).

 

Im Kontext mythischer und philosophischer Aspekte korrespondieren differenzierte, fragile Farb- und Formelemente mit klaren, kräftigen Zeichen. Es geht um subtile Erfahrung, Verwebung vegetativer Qualitäten im Balanceakt zwischen Konkretem und Abstraktem, zwischen Schärfe und Unschärfe, Verdichtung und Auflösung, Schwere und flüchtige Leichtigkeit.
