I am a designer and love all aspects of design...from interior to landscape to quilt!

I rarely use patterns and usually just "sew as I go" when making a quilt. I love how it all comes together and usually ends up unique and special. I have been quilting since the early 90's and have worked in a quilt shop as well as taught hand applique classes in several locations. I used to do EVERYTHING by hand but have opted for more machine work as I get older and see that quilting time actually is finite.

Recently, I have joined a Modern Quilt group and have been amazed at what the members are doing! They are so inspiring and have prompted me to get outside my norm and experiment a bit. Loving it!!
