Almost all my work since 2006 is in black and white. The lack of color forces me to pay more attention to the actual picture and not just rely on color for a good shot.

I previously worked with slide film, mostly Fuji Velvia 50, back in the 90's when I lived in Queensland, Australia. I have now converted entirely to digital.

My equipment is extremely simple. I normally carry a 6 MP digital SLR, one zoom lens and a tripod.

I reside in Summerfield, North Carolina, and lived previously in central New Jersey.
