I bought my first 35mm (Nikon FM) when my daughter was born and have been hooked on photography ever since. Two sons and eight Nikons later, I'm still shooting every chance I get, but lack of cooperative children as subjects has turned my attention to landscapes and wildlife. My wife (my one and only) and I love to spend time traveling, and our destinations of choice include the Sierras, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Michigan's UP and Civil War Battlefields. Actually, I'm happy traveling anywhere, but the car seems to automatically point toward the mountains when the trip set is turned on.

Altho family is my number one priority, and church is very important, my guitars and my GTO are also near and dear to my heart ( the Harley comes in a distant third). The Goat only comes out in the summer, the Harley when there's no rain and I can be comfortable in a leather jacket, but the guitars are constant companions.

Flickr has been a real learning tool. As much as I love taking pictures, I realize how many talented photographers post pictures here, and I am always looking to learn new techniques and improve my own photography by looking at the excellent posts of others. I truly appreciate constructive comments and value my contacts. This is a never ending journey. I'm glad to be sharing it with all of you.
