All must worship the Almighty Moo.

I am a straight up Ashevillian. I've only lived in the mountains for a year, and it's the only place in the states that I've felt completely at home. I am very proud of my heritage, hence the sort of tattoos I have... said heritage consists of being Irish, Scottish, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Welsh/English, etc. etc... you know how we European mutts are... And my mum's side has Irken innit, which explains the Invader Zim tattoo...

I have recently become a waterfall addict, as you could probably deduce from the recent additions to my flickrstream. I've always been a very outdoors person and waterfall hunting combines my love of driving twisty mountain roads, hiking, photography, and playing in the water.

If you're in North Carolina and want to hunt down some waterfalls, make sure you get Kevin Adams's book, North Carolina Waterfalls: A Hiking and Photography Guide. It has proved a most invaluable resource for me and well worth the measly $20 I paid for it at the local bookstore (they've got it at Barnes & Noble, Asheville people!) And if ever you want to go play in the woods and photograph some falls, drop a line, hey? ^_^

I love Moo. Just Moo's photos that mix scenery with light play. Great shots with wisps of fog and mist, and then the bright lights setting it all off. Oh sure there are many other pictures, but for me it is these shots that put Moo into the group of people whose pictures I admire.
