Hello. Photography is a long-standing hobby of mine. Although I have digital cameras, I still enjoy film photography especially with rangefinder cameras and medium-format equipment. I like the simplicity of black and white photography. I develop my own black and white pictures and scan the negatives using an Epson F-3200 scanner. I use Photoshop CS3 and CS6 for editing.
Please note that all photos in my photostream are copyrighted and must not be used without my permission.
"When you photograph people in colour you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in B&W, you photograph their souls!" ~Ted Grant
"The revelation, if it comes at all, will come in a small fraction of a second with an unconscious gesture, a gleam of the eye, a brief lifting of the mask that all humans wear to conceal their innermost selves from the world. In that fleeting interval of opportunity the photographer must act or lose his prize." ~ Yousuf Karsh
"Never ever confuse sharp with good, or you will end up shaving with an ice cream cone and licking a razor blade." ~ Bill Pierce
"What's the point of getting killed if you've got the wrong exposure?" ~Don McCullin

monz is totally indescribable, he has magic in his hand and spellbound me till to date.
Monz is the quiet star that constantly shines and yet manages to remain hidden in the sea of heavens. It is redundant to mention how amazing his work is, because it is right here for you to see for yourself. I hope, one day I can take portraits as well as he does.

Monz./Monzur bhai's photostream is enviable. It shows that, in the hands of an expert, film still beats digital. But technicalities of format and equipment aside, there's no denying that monz. has an eye for the shot. All his pictures are full of life and warmth in a genuine, understated way. Posed or candid, he has a way of capturing the personalities of people in his portraits that really make them special. Combining this with his sharp, perfectly exposed shots, even in the so-called "digital age," monz's film work stands head and shoulders above most of the competition.
