what i like here most beside the talent and the unique colors, is exactly the atmosphere, authenticity and simplicity she transform in unique moments. Il mio incontro con la fotografia di monyart, è avvenuta attraverso questo sito. Da subito sono stato affascinato dal suo "modo" di vedere le cose, le persone, i luoghi. E' un modo che, definirlo penetrante, è un eufemismo. I soggetti sono letteralmente "invasi" dal suo sguardo. Con lei, con monyart, si fa un viaggio "dentro" il soggetto, lo si attraversa come può farlo solo un raggio X. Ecco, proprio questa percezione, non so perché, mi porta a dire che monyart, è l'erede naturale di Man Ray. Probabilmente sarà una esagerazione dovuta all'immenso amore che nutro per questa artista, ma ho netta la sensazione che le avanguardie artistiche americane di tutti i tempi, trasudino dalle sue immagini. E così Edward Hopper e Nan Goldin, sono certamente passati tra le esperienze culturali di monyart, ed hanno lasciato quella "ferita" che definiamo ricordo, perciò "traccia", ovvero, memoria.
