There are rumours that her magic comes from actual chain-smoking novel-writing monkeys. I'm here to put that to rest - they only had one smoke a day, and only on banana day (Wednesdays).

Monkey Magic is a woman of generous spirit and talent. I love her portraits the most. They reveal her skill, her intelligence and her compassion for her subjects. I am lucky to have met her and sipped ouzo with her on the banks of the Thames. I will also always appreciate that she helped me to find my way home that night! She is a real "mensch" and I feel a connection with her beyond photography.
