Monika Müller, originally German, has lived in Greece and in Mexico, and is now based in Montreal. In 1979, after completing her studies and having started a career as an adult educator in Germany, a serious intestinal ailment ravaged her colon to the point that even the specialists in Munich were astonished that she was still alive. At this threshold, rather than giving in to the fear of death, she chose to put into action what had already evolved as a concept within her work as an adult educator. As intertwined as they had been, she left her fears and taboos behind and took full responsibility for her decisions. This not only allowed her to heal her body, it set her on an unusual life-path from which she never wants to recover.

She has also traveled extensively in Central and South America as well as Asia. During this period, Monika spent almost a year in solitude in the jungle. In 1984 she developed a healing technique based on the conscious use of Bio-Cosmo-Energy, a way of healing which is built on shamanic and tantric knowledge.
