I've recently discovered a great interest towards cooking and baking. I like cooking Hungarian and Romanian dishes but also to try out new recipes.

Although I try to bake different types of cakes and cookies, my favorites are the ones with chocolate. I am a big chocoholic.

Browsing through the food images on flickr, David Lebovitz or La Tartine Gourmande gives me ideas of what to cook or bake, how to style the food but also trains my eyes for nicer food photography.

I use multiple cameras to capture food.

It starts with my phone, which I carry around all the time but I use it to make pictures only when the moment or dish catches me by surprise.

The second camera is a Sony simple click & shoot type. I use it when I go to a restaurant and I know that I want to capture the delightful dish which I will then eat. This cam is small so it will not draw attention on me.

And last but not least, my cool big Canon 450D, which makes the perfect pictures, is used when I cook or bake at home. This is the perfect cam to use when I try to prepare a nice food styling and then pleasantly decorate it.

I am however quite inexperienced in both cooking and baking, food styling and food photo but I am trying my best to improve.

My other passion is taking travel photos and flower close-ups. I am traveling quite often, every second month, so I get a chance to see and capture images of lovely scenery and unique flowers.
