My name is Monica, I am 23, I am a wife, a mommy, a singer, a dancer, a martial artist, and of course, a photographer.

I am a newbie in the photography world. I bought my first digital camera in 2004 (a 3mp HP, haha!), upgraded to a Kodak Easyshare Z612 in April of 2007, which is how I learned to shoot manually, and in December of 2007, my wonderful husband bought me my first DLSR, a Canon 400D (Rebel XTi).

As far as lenses, I started with a Sigma 28-70mm 2.4-4 (YUCK!), then added the nifty fifty, fantastic plastic 50mm 1.8, and most recently added the Canon 28-135 3.5-5.6 IS USM!

As of August 2008 I made a HUGE (for me at least) business investment by purchasing my Canon 5D, and I think i am in love! ***Drool***! I can't wait to get my hands on some L series lenses! Hey, a girl can dream right? :-)

My favorite subjects are Newborns, and babies and children (I have two of my own, and one on the way, due March 2009), but I also do Senior sessions, family sessions, and weddings and events.
