I live in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota with my husband Paul. We have two kids, a 10-year-old Daughter Mikaela and a 8-year-old son Mathew. I love to quilt, sew clothing, and share my love of quilting with others. I've been quilting for 22 years, sewing for 32 years since I started in 4-H. I work for SDSU as an academic advisor and teach quilting classes at The Sewing Center. I enjoy quilting on my Janome 1600P, piecing on my mom's Bernina 730, and keep my Janome 3050DC and Janome Jem around for sewing in the 5th wheel and with my daughter. My Next Generation Frame lives at my dad's house and I have quilted 300+ quilts on my frame. We enjoy spending time watching Nascar, fishing, hunting, camping and being in the country.
