Monadnock Music (MM) is one of New England's leading music festivals. Founded in 1966, Monadnock Music is located in Peterborough, New Hampshire, known for its history and natural beauty. The organization offers musical presentations -- chamber music, opera, symphony, solo recitals -- throughout the Monadnock Region in notable churches and meeting houses. MM is under the leadership of Executive Director William Chapman and Artistic Director Gil Rose. The flagship offering is the summer music festival, which presents up to 20 concerts, featuring many leading performers from New England and throughout North America. The education program “Lend an Ear!” brings the joy of classical music to elementary schools throughout the Monadnock region.
