I live in Australia, love to travel, and would like to be a better photographer.. Is that too small a goal in life?

I have a Nikon D80,

Nikkor 60mm AF-S Micro lens,

Nikkor 18-200 AF-S VR lens,

Nikkor 50mm F/1.4 AF-D lens,

Nikkor 35mm F/2 AF-D lens,

Lensbaby 2.0 (returned to the shop for a spare part, 2 months and counting..)
