Molarchae melds together love of science, creativity, and reuse. Science is an ever-evolving body of knowledge, and as a result, many older books are almost laughably outdated. We rescue books that are past their informative and/or physical prime and give them a new life with the help of a laser cutter and a lot of love. Because every old book has history and character, each piece is guaranteed unique. The laser etching removes the top layer of the cover to reveal the fabric or chip board underneath, resulting in a two-tone effect. Many of these books also have truly fantastic cover designs that we wanted to give a better life than sitting on a shelf--and so BOOK was born. Yay science!
