www.flickr.com/photos/mokas... is obviously a talented photographer with a good eye for images that deserve to be preserved for the enjoyment and instruction of others. I am particularly impressed with the range of interests expressed in his (or her) collection on Flickr. The color palette ranges all over the chart and the monochromes are also beautiful and well executed. But there is also another thing I especially love about the collection and that is the photographer's ability to elicit happy responses from his (or her) subjects. I tire of all the dreary and depressed portraits I see on Flickr. Photographers seem to think they need to capture the picture of people as they think about the terrible state of the world or their own lives. More often, they are caught posing with a silly, fake grin. www.flickr.com/photos/mokas... 's work seems more genuine. Maybe some of this is the result of having created a comfortable and happy environment for the family that provides so many of the subjects.
