It has been a real pleasure to share and be inspired by Jo’s photographic journey. She clearly had the eye for a great image right from the start, and over the last year or so has produced so many stunning pictures as her confidence and technique have grown. Her pictures of people, are a real strength, one where Jo has risen to her own challenge and produced some images she should be really proud of. If she keeps going at this rate who knows where it could lead, I’m just glad to be able to watch.

The improvement in mojo74's photographs over just a few months is almost unbelievable, to the point where a shot of hers will make my jaw drop almost weekly. Furthermore, she's nothing but encouraging, friendly and helpful whenever you encounter her on the site, and I'm very glad to have her as a contact.

The photos that Jo takes are always inspirational. Her ability (especially in photographing people in the throes of a carnival) are vivid - capturing the spirit, fun and atmosphere accurately. Jo's non-portrait photos and subjects give an indication of the person I am pleased to be getting to know. They are warm, have good humour, non-judgemental and the ability to speak for themself. Jo is generous with her knowledge, skills and ability. I am thankful for that, as I am still learning too. She has encouraged me to be more active in the Manchester Flickr group - and through that, I have had the opportunity to meet fantastic local talent. I consider myself truly lucky that one of my best Flickr pals has become a real life friend and only lives 10 minutes down the road :). And her dog Milly gives the best facewash in the North West - you have no choice in the matter. Hooray for The Mojo's (Mr & Mrs)

It's amazing to see how far Jo has gone in such a short space of time. When we first met she was a poor farm boy in a pink wig on a faraway planet, with no idea of her true destiny. A bit of encouragement and light-sabre work later and boof! She's only gone and become a fully fledged bloody Jedi! Once Jo was but the… Read more

A bit of encouragement and light-sabre work later and boof! She's only gone and become a fully fledged bloody Jedi! Once Jo was but the learner: now she is the master. Joking aside, Jo has amazing flair and creativity which are matched by her generosity to others. She's a true star of Flickr. :¬)
