Moggers - View my recent photos on Flickriver

I love looking through all the images that people post so if I post a comment on your image please don't feel obliged to post one back to mine. I post comments because I want to, equally if do want to then feel free. I'm always keen to get people's views, good or bad. I like to know if I've done something well or if you think things could have been changed to make it better.

December 2009

I feel very lucky, Poppy is now here and Oliver is such an amazing little boy too. He's learning so much and being a great brother to Poppy.

I have changed how I use FlickR now and I use it mostly as a photo Blog of what is happening in our life, and as such I have most photos open to just family.

I will keep looking for great photos, I'm using my camera so much more but just don't expect many pulic updates :)

March 2009

We are now lucky enough to be pregnant with our second baby.

Oliver, our little boy is 14 months and an absolute delight.

FlickR is a mix of things for me (all good though). It is mostly a blog for my family and us to see and remember the ways our lives change each day, its a place for me to gain inspiration from all the other amazing and wonderful photographers out there and it's also a place for me to put up some of my photos of 'stuff'. I find that I am naturally drawn to children's portraiture at the moment and probably for obvious reasons :) Having said that I have not found a genre of photography that I dislike, although I have found many that are very hard :)

I meet up with the guys and gals from the Images of Bath group when I can. This group has some excellent togs and wonderful people :)

Life is good :)

August 2008

If you have taken a look at my pictures you'll maybe have noticed that we have a little boy :) He is absolutely gorgeous and a fantastically willing subject.

He is coming up to 8 months now and just getting more and more wonderful.

a year later than the original profile

I have now had my camera for about a year. What a journey I have been through. Sounds cliché but I am now seeing so much more. The world is wonderfully inspiring when you open your eyes and mind to what is out there. It is incredible to see so much work out there, no two people will take the exact same shot of a picture, whether it's due to composition or interpretation it shows everything slightly differently; BRILLIANT.

We now have a little boy that is due to be born on the 27th. We are so excited about this and you could not have failed to notice this this from my pictures. My wife is an amazing lady and the fact that we are about to have a baby together is truly wonderful.

I feel my pictures have improved over the last year. I know much more about what I am looking to get from a shot. Of course there is so much more to learn though from everyone out there. What a wonder it is to be a part of this amazing world!

Original profile from quite some time ago :)

I am very new to the creative world. I live and work in the world of IT and have always avoided art and creativity. Having said that I now love having my camera. I love the creative side but also love the technology that makes up the camera, yes I am sad :) I love the technology working to create art, well for me anyway.

I love looking at the world with a fresh set of eyes and seeing things differently. Seems crazy to have missed so many things before but refreshing that I do now have the chance to see them.

There are some amazing people on this site. I really love the work from Matilde B http://www.flickr.com/photos/matilde/

The photos she creates are amazing and I love all the different compositions she creates. Stunning. If I produce one photo that is close to any of hers I will be very pleased!

Anyway, love the new world that is opening up to me and looking forward to seeing everything that I can.

Please do feel free to comment on my pictures. What do you like or dislike. Does it work or not. Ultimately I post up the pictures that I like or that tell a story for me but I'm always keen to know what other people think and how I can improve for future shots.

Enjoy
