I hold up my magic box to the world with the hope that I can rediscover the beauty and goodness in the ordinariness of the everyday. To fix my gaze on every image, every face, and to capture in the frames of a photograph what lies beneath.

I share these images with others so that they may begin to peel off the layers of the world and find these hidden gifts.

As I share this vision with others, I, too, peel off the layers of myself and learn to embrace the person I have become. To accept what I have and do not have, and to thank Him for all these which we see and do not see and what has yet to take shape before us.
