I adore everything what has buttons, sliders or potentiometers...and I´m a photography addict.. :)

I was born in Miskolc Hungary, now I live in Budapest.

Photography was for me a hobby in my childhood. I developed black and white films and made prints in the elementary school (Cmena 8, Beirette, Zenit ET and Zenit 12XP), but later I began to loose interest sometime in my youth, because I didn’t had the money to develop my films and make enlargements. My films started collecting dust in the shelves. Some years ago my passion for photography returned when digital SLR cameras started to drop their prices, but my obsession for the film look never faded.

This is my photographic diary.

Nowadays i am leaning towards unobtrusive photography and i'm also enjoying the lightness of it. Mostly shooting with my Fuji X100 or my mobile phone.

Interresting quotes:

"If after a portrait shooting someone comes up to you and complains about how the sky is terribly blown out, turn around and smack them and tell that I told you to.

You’re shooting a portrait of someone, obviously the main focus of the photo is of the person, pet, or animal, yes? YES!!!!! A thousand times yes!"

Chris Gampat / The Phoblographer

"Everyone believes that their reality is the "real" one. Except the Jedi Knights.

They knew that your focus determines your reality. And my focus is locked at ten feet."

Kirk Tuck / The Visual Science Lab

"The cameras of the late eighties were definitely more plastic & more automated and then came autofocus and the end of civilisation!"

Paul Winter / NRIPN

"So why do I say I'm mentally ill, if I've bought only 3 lenses?

Because I DON'T EVEN HAVE any camera that can use them!

I don't suffer of any insanity. I just enjoy every moment of it!"

When you have to use f22 with sunny 16:

"Are you at the beach or on the top of a mountain with snow and it’s sunny as all hell?

Is there a shitload of glare that makes your eyes want to burn out of their sockets?

Are you on the sun itself? Corresponding f-stop: f/22"

"HDR is like alcohol. You need to get horribly drunk a few times to understand what’s wrong with that."
