Modern Warrior was founded in 1981 by the highly decorated--in Plainclothes and Uniformed Assignments-- NYPD Sgt. Phil Messina (Ret.).

Our Mission: To provide the most practical and realistic self defense training possible in order to enable military, law enforcement and law abiding citizens to defend themselves against multiple assailants and other threats.
