Drag to set position!
Elise Evans was born in San Francisco, California. She received a degree in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley, and studied graphic design at the Graphic Arts Institute of Northern California in San Francisco, California.
Her work is considered “assemblage art”. She uses mixed media, including collage, acrylic paint, specialty paper, fabric, hair, jewels, and found objects.
From vintage understated elegance to today’s trendsetting chic, Mod City Silhouettes are an exuberant expression of style, flair, and plenty attitude’ is how Evans describes her work. With each piece, she tries to communicate a sense of fluidity, movement, personality, and sophistication.
Her matchless collection of silhouettes step out in a wondrous potpourri of colors and textiles, creating a refreshingly distinctive look. The designs range from seductively simple lingerie to richly detailed evening wear. Outfitted with only the finest quality materials from around the globe, Elise’s sophisticated ladies exude both self-assurance and flirty sensibility.
Mod City Silhouettes are joined by their alluring cousins, Mod City Dance Troupe. Leaping, stretching, and prancing, these eloquent dancers show off not only their fine shapes, but also costumes and colors worthy of the world’s top stages. Draped and wrapped in silk and leather, beads and fringe, gold and copper, pastels and jewel tones, these dancers turn heads.
