I'm Matt, I'm 27 and I live in the United Kingdom. As heard on BCFM, Hospital Radio and BBC World Service and as seen on BBC One and BBC News 24, I'm a student, traveller, blogger, procrastinator, music lover, photographer, writer, cyclist and media wannabe.
Some of the coolest things I've done are; Filmed a short report for BBC News 24; Hiked 6km in thigh-deep snow between Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg in Switzerland, 2343 metres above sea level (the hardest thing I’ve ever done); Climbed to the top of Monte Vesuvio, a 1281m high active volcano best known for destroying the roman city of Pompeii in 79 AD; Went out into the dark Icelandic night and saw both the fiery eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano and the aurora borealis; Walked through a tunnel bored out of the ice of a glacier in Switzerland; Ate the world's best hotdog in Copenhagen, Denmark.
