My Name is Michalis, and I am from Nicosia, Cyprus. I currently work as a Telecom Engineer. Photography has been my passion for many years. I have always believed that every picture convenes a special message, as much as any other art form does for the viewer. Pictures can address emotions more deeply and faster. They can create an emotion that may vary from person to person. That is why I also like pictures that provoke questions requiring the viewer to use his or her own imagination.

 

The first time I held a camera in my hands I realized that I had the power not only of capturing a moment in time, a memory, but also I could tell a story. My camera becomes my brushes, my canvas and my emotions.

  

I have taken part in several competitions, while my work has been published in local magazines and newspapers and exhibited in many galleries.
